Abstract
This paper elaborate to generate electrical power through unconventional way. In this system, renewable energy resources like wind and solar are integrated to generate electric power. In this, the DC output of PV cell and converted dc output of Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) are fed to a common DC bus. We are using Two-diode model PV cell with reduced four parameters, it shows non linear behavior and acts as a constant voltage source. The reason behind employing two diode model is that it increases the accuracy and efficiency of the system and also when it is integrated with WECS it makes the system more reliable.
To increase the efficiency of PV array up to suitable fuel and its operation at maximal point P & O MPPT algorithm’s used and dc-dc boost converter also used. The behavior of the system verified using MATLAB/ Simulink.
