Abstract
Taxi-booking applications play a major role in the transport system of the metropolitan cities. Unlike the other taxi booking applications the proposed system uses the concept of reverse auction where the driver can bid a price for the ride with A. Directly to Driver EASE OF USE which they have to compete with other drivers which ultimately results in best offers for the ride to the customer and also the customer can bargain a price to make it a best deal for both of them. Since only the driver and the customer in involved in the process of fixing the price, the system does not get any share from the fare that is determined by them. The booking request by the customer provides all the required information to the driver for making an estimation for the ride. The traffic on the route is also updated so as the driver can bid a reasonable price. The behavior of the taxi drivers are analyzed based on the reviews given by the customers which helps the other customers to choose wisely.
