Abstract
Environment relates to surroundings which includethe interaction of all living species, climate, weather, and natural resources that affect human survival and economic activity. Environment consists of both natural and artificial elements.The natural environment consists of trees, climatic conditions, soil, air and water. Whereas the artificial environment consists of all the man-made things. Whenever any activity is carried out by humans that destroy environment, it leaves impact on all the living beings. Due to such happenings, what enormously suffers is the health of the people as it is directly connected to environment.The link between the human life and environment is unbreakable and if any such efforts are made, then either directly or indirectly it will harm all the living creatures. Thus Environment and Public health are interconnected to each other. Environmental health is basically a component of public health system. The present paper aims to analyze the concept of Environment and Public Health in the light of interpretation of law. Thus, the government has established certain provisions in order to prevent the environment as well as the health of the people from any harm. In aspects of public health, law is an essential tool which plays a crucial role in reducing illness, premature death and controlling the birth and death ratios. Public health law focuses on the link between law, public health and the legal tools applicable to public health issues.
