Although motorcycle safety helmets are known for preventing head injuries, in many countries, the use of motorcycle helmets is low due to the lack of police power to enforcing helmet laws. This paper presents a system which automatically detect motorcycle riders and determine that they are wearing safety helmets or not. This paper proposes an approach to automatically recognize motorcycle riders and passengers whether they are wearing helmets or not and is an extension of preliminary. This proposed method may reduce the labor-intensive work of enforcing helmet laws and hence ultimately reduce the mortality rate involving motorcycle accidents.
