Abstract
The present lathe machine structures consist of spindle system which plays a major role in the quality of the final product and the overall productivity and efficiency of the machine tool itself. The spindle of a lathe machine, which is rotated by the main motor, holds the cutting tool, which cuts the work piece, so that the cutting forces are generated which effects the spindle accuracy directly. Based on maximum cutting force incurred the analysis will be carried out. The main objective is to find the static analysis of spindle structure. From static analysis stress, strain and deformation of the spindle can be found. The material used in this analysis are normal steel, 20MnCr, 4140 chromium alloys, aluminum alloy, titanium alloy. And the result will be tabulated. By the tabulated result we can compare the result and optimum material will be shown
