Abstract
basically Cop can be increased either by increasing the refrigeration effect or by decreasing the power required in simple vapour compression refrigeration system . so we Need to modify the system . The subcooling is done after condenser by using heat exchanger . By subcooling the condenser temperature reduces and refrigeration effect increases with the help of these three refrigerant R-134a, R-12,R-717 by performing experiment not only we recorded their result but other parameter also such as Cop, refrigeration effect, power required, volumetric efficiency, percentage increment or decrement in Cop . The main focus of this paper was to calculate the performance of VCRS cycle with the help of heat exchanger by using three refrigerant such as R-134a, R-717,R-12 .
