Abstract
To securely transfer the images from sender to the receiver the cryptography process has found its emergence. Cryptography is the process, which is used to send and receive the encoded information, which can be decoded, only by the sender or recipient. By the progress of the digital revolution, it has become easier for us to retrieve the information directly and clearly transmit it through images but due to the loopholes in networks being used, the security of information has become a consequence problem. A novel scheme for secret image sharing based on elliptical curve cryptography is proposed in this paper. The experimental and theoretical analysis have proved that the proposed cryptographic scheme is highly secure and is suitable for encrypting color images.
