Abstract
Facial expression recognition systems have attracted abundant analysis interest among the sphere of AI. Many established facial expression recognition (FER) systems apply standard machine learning to pull out the image features. This article is designed for developing an automated framework for emotion detection. This project builds upon recent research to arrange images of human faces into discrete emotion categories using convolutional neural networks (CNN). These methods were trained on the posed-emotion dataset (JAFFE). In our framework we have taken a frame from live streaming video and processed it using cascade image detector and convolution neural network.
