The major phytochemicals found in aqueous extract of thorn parts of E. milii were, alkaloids, anthocyanin & betacyanin, flavonoids, phlobatannins, steroids, tannins, and terpenoids. The IC50 values exhibited by aqueous extracts of thorn parts of E. milii was 211.38 µg/mL. In conclusion, study results showed that water concentrate of thorn parts of E. milii has vide variety of phytoactives.
