  • Chitra’s novel “The forest of Enchantment” depicts the inversion of Ramayana story where Sita became the hero of the story and highlights the strength, self-respect, insight and solidarity of herself with joy and intensity. The novel shows Sita as an epitome of courage and being a path for all women. As a protagonist, Chitra throws the thoughts and actions of its myriad Characters in the words of Sita.
