abstract = {The quest for India to evolve into a developed country by 2047, captured in the concept of Viksit Bharat, is a paradigm shift that emphasis’s development through growth, inclusiveness, and sustainability. The present chapter seeks to assess the performance of India in fulfilling the UN Sustainable Development Goals and highlights its role in contributing to India's long-term national developmental goals. Based on secondary data sourced from both national and international sources, the study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach with trend and comparative analysis. According to the study's results, India has achieved notable success in poverty alleviation, digital financial inclusion, infrastructure development, and governance reforms. Nonetheless, problems such as environmental degradation, regional disparities, unemployment, and a lack of investment in research and development continue to pose limitations. This chapter offers a theoretical framework for the relationship between SDGs performance, digital transformation, and policy efficiency in Viksit Bharat 2047. The conclusion is that sustained and inclusive development needs multi-stakeholders' efforts, strong institutions, and innovative development strategies.},
