Review On Antenna Design for High Efficiency In UWB

  • Unique Paper ID: 204547
  • PageNo: 245-250
  • Abstract:
  • Ultra-Wideband (UWB) antenna technology has emerged as a key enabler for high-speed and high-capacity wireless communication systems. This paper presents a comprehensive review of various UWB antenna design techniques aimed at improving antenna efficiency, impedance bandwidth, gain, and overall system performance. The study discusses multiple design approaches, including non-thermal soldering techniques for polymer-based antennas, triangular patch antennas with slot modifications, metamaterial-based antenna structures, combined TEM horn antennas using Klopfenstein impedance tapering, compact shielding can slot antennas, band-notched monopole antennas with defected ground structures, and compact Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) antenna systems.
