Abstract
IoT is the netting of physical devices, vehicles, home appliances and other devices with the software, sensors and connectivity installed outside to control and report changes in the environment. It is changing the way of living life and making it far easier than earlier. Many issues are getting solved on the tip of finger with the help of IoT. The main concern related to IoT is security as it connects billions of devices and individuals to send and retrieve useful information and data. Identification, authentication and the device diversity are the vital security issues in IoT. This survey discusses the practices related to safety and the privacy of IoT
