|At present time door security is the most important and so we designed and implemented a Smart door lock system. The system can be modified easily without disturbing the other components in the system. Implementation of these Smart Door Lock System using face recognition and GSM module is possible using the Raspberry. New embedded technologies can be easily inserted into this development due to use of raspberry pi. GSM Stands for Global system for Mobile Communication is used to send the message and images to authorized persons mobile number. Keypad module is used for entering the 4-digit password. For face recognition, an image will be captured by a pi camera and pre-processed by Raspberry pi like converting, re-sizing and cropping. Then face detection and recognition are performed. Once the face is recognized by the classifier based on a pre-stored image library the door will be open Otherwise its remaining closed. The main advanced feature in all three modules is that if unknown person enters three consecutive wrong passwords, it will send an alert message on GSM mobile number and image captured by camera will send to the authorized email id using internet. and also start the buzzer alarm for security alert of the society.|
