  • Blockchain technology has become an effective means for managing academic data. Investigating how blockchain technology can be used in academic reporting, assessing its possible advantages and disadvantages, and offering practical advice for utilising this breakthrough in higher education are the aims of this study. Shanmugam Subramanian, G. Vijayakumar, and N. Raghavendra (2024) carried out a cross-sectional study on the use of blockchain in academic record management, with an emphasis on how it might enhance data sharing security and transparency, accelerate processes, and reduce administrative burdens in academic management systems at universities. The study's conclusion emphasises how blockchain technology may transform education by enhancing security, transparency, and credential verification.
