  • Abstract:
  • The growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing the way organizations protect their digital environments. AI systems can learn from data, recognize unusual activities, and respond to cyber threats faster and more accurately than traditional methods, making them a vital tool for modern cybersecurity. AI enhances threat detection, prevention, and response by automating data analysis and identifying complex attack patterns more efficiently than traditional systems. Studies show that AI tools such as machine learning and deep learning improve malware detection, intrusion prevention, and incident recovery. However, the use of AI also introduces new risks, including adversarial attacks, data privacy concerns, and ethical issues. The research highlights that while AI strengthens digital defense, it must be implemented responsibly with strong data governance and risk management. Future developments like federated learning and quantum security could further improve resilience. “Overall, AI offers powerful opportunities to build smarter cybersecurity systems but requires careful oversight to prevent misuse and ensure trust, transparency, and long-term digital resilience.”
