This paper explores the fundamental concepts, architecture, and applications of IoT across various sectors including healthcare, smart cities, agriculture, and industry. It also addresses key challenges such as security, privacy, scalability, and interoperability. By reviewing recent advancements and emerging trends, the study highlights the potential of IoT to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and user experiences while outlining future research directions to overcome existing limitations and maximize its societal impact.
