abstract = {This study examines the impact of festivals on the economy, employment, and tourism in India. Festivals are an integral part of Indian culture and contribute significantly to economic activities. During festival seasons, there is an increase in consumer spending on goods, travel, food, and services, which supports business growth and economic development. Festivals also create employment opportunities in sectors such as retail, hospitality, transportation, and tourism. In addition, festivals attract a large number of domestic and international tourists, contributing to tourism growth and regional income. This study is based on secondary data collected from government reports, articles, and economic surveys. The findings indicate that festivals play an important role in boosting the economy, generating employment, and promoting tourism, thereby contributing to overall economic development.},
