AI-Generated Content: Opportunities and Ethical Challenges in The Creative Industry

  • Unique Paper ID: 207098
  • PageNo: 25-31
  • Abstract:
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as one of the most influential technologies of the present era. Its rapid adoption across journalism, marketing, education, entertainment, and healthcare is redefining traditional practices. AI-generated content offers several industry-level advantages. It enables organizations to create content rapidly, reduce time and cost, and automate repetitive activities so that employees can focus on more useful and creative work. AI systems can also analyze large volumes of data and provide insights that support better decision-making. However, their use raises important ethical concerns. Excessive dependence on AI may gradually weaken human creativity and critical thinking. AI-generated outputs may lack originality, reproduce similar information, or contain inaccurate and biased material that affects decisions. Data privacy is another major concern because AI systems rely on large amounts of data that must be collected, processed, and protected responsibly. Therefore, AI-generated content should be used carefully, transparently, and ethically. In education, it should support learning rather than replace independent thinking.
