  • Abstract:
  • Human resources play a crucial role in providing competitive strength to the banking industry. Nevertheless, the connection between how HR policies are put into practice and worker productivity has not been sufficiently studied. This investigation examines how the effectiveness of HR policy execution affects employee output in chosen Indian commercial banks. A mixed-method approach was adopted. Quantitative information was gathered from 120 banking employees via structured survey forms, accompanied by discussions with five HR managers. Results indicate a robust positive correlation between clear and uniform policy execution and enhanced employee output. Private banks exhibit notably superior implementation standards compared to public banks. Communication effectiveness emerged as a key mediating variable. The study concludes that well-drafted HR policies alone are insufficient; the fairness and transparency of implementation determine their actual impact on employee performance. Recommendations include regular policy audits, digital transparency tools, and participative policy reviews.
