abstract = {The present study investigates the influence of shear wall inclusion in reinforced concrete (RCC) and composite structural systems. In structural analysis, a shear wall behaves similarly to a vertical cantilever beam anchored at its base, significantly enhancing the lateral stiffness of the building. This increased stiffness helps control overall structural displacement, minimize storey drift, and improve the serviceability performance of the structure by reducing excessive sway and protecting non-structural components. These wind pressures generally increase with elevation due to higher wind velocities at greater heights and are evaluated using standard design provisions such as IS 875 (Part 3), which incorporate parameters related to terrain conditions, topography, and structural geometry. The review analysis focuses on key structural response parameters including storey displacement, storey drift, stiffness, lateral force, and base shear. Comparative evaluations are performed for high-rise building configurations of G+20, G+25, and G+30 storeys with varying shear wall dimensions to assess their effectiveness in enhancing lateral load resistance and overall structural performance under wind loading conditions. ETABS 22 is being utilised for the modeling and to analyze the structure.},
