abstract = {Structural strengthening is an essential technique used to enhance the load-carrying capacity, durability, and seismic performance of existing structures. Many buildings and infrastructure systems deteriorate over time due to aging, environmental effects, increased loading, design deficiencies, or changes in functional requirements. Structural strengthening methods are therefore implemented to improve the safety, stability, and service life of such structures without complete demolition and reconstruction. Various strengthening techniques such as reinforced concrete jacketing, steel plate bonding, fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) wrapping, external prestressing, and the addition of shear walls or bracing systems are widely used in structural engineering practice. Analytical tools such as pushover analysis and nonlinear structural evaluation are often used to assess the performance of structures before and after strengthening.},
