  • A billing system can be very useful within business environment. Instead of making bills manually or to sum up the total manually, it is very much time consuming and also may have some human errors like adding up the wrong total or adding wrong items into the bill. When making a hand written bill the owner and customer both have to repeatedly check the total, items added, etc. It also sometimes results into a Bad Impression towards the Restaurant from a Customer Ideally, user should be able to generate bill without any mistakes and quickly, enabling them to fasten or improve their process. To overcome this problem, we have come up with this project, that is, Restaurant Billing System Using Python. An innovative product with societal acceptance is the one that aids the Comfort, convenience and efficiency in everyday life. Purchasing and shopping is becoming daily activity. The project” Mart Billing System” is an application that automates the process of ordering and Billing in a “Departmental Store”. It makes an easy-to-use environment for Cashier and customer. In present billing system shopkeepers are manipulating the customer by Giving out any item of the same price instead of exact change. It also provides the customer with the benefit of reward points. On every 500 rupees of purchase the customer will be awarded 2 points. Also, on every purchase above rupees 5000/- 5 extra bonus points will be Given to the customer. The points will be stored in the customer’s account. The reward points can Be used to avail a discount of 2% on every 50 points within a span of four Months.
