abstract = {The paper deals with an inventory model for deteriorating items in which the rate of deterioration follows a two-parameter Weibull distribution. The demand rate is assumed to be linearly dependent on to price with a stochastic error and the inventory holding cost varies with time. Shortages in inventory are allowed to occur and are completely backlogged. The optimal results are derived for a numerical example. The sensitivity analysis is performed to examine the effects of changes in the values of the key parameters involved in the model.},
