  • Abstract:
  • Inventory management is a critical component of modern warehouse, retail, and supply chain operations. Traditional inventory tracking methods rely heavily on manual record keeping and barcode-based systems, which are often prone to human errors, stock discrepancies, delayed updates, and inefficient monitoring. This paper presents a Smart Inventory Management System with RFID-Based Tracking and Real-Time Analytics designed to automate inventory operations and improve inventory visibility. The proposed system integrates RFID scanning simulation, real-time inventory monitoring, analytics dashboards, and centralized data management within a web-based platform. The system follows a layered architecture consisting of Controller, Service, Repository, and Model layers and utilizes RESTful APIs for efficient communication between frontend and backend components. Developed using Java Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and H2 Database, the system provides scalability, reliability, and ease of use. The proposed solution minimizes human intervention, improves inventory accuracy, reduces operational costs, and supports data-driven business decision-making through interactive visual analytics.
