abstract = {The rapid expansion of digital financial services has significantly transformed the way individuals’ access, evaluate, and invest in mutual funds. Digital platforms, including investment applications, online brokerage portals, fintech platforms, mobile banking applications, and financial information websites, have made mutual fund investment more accessible, convenient, and information-rich. Investors can now compare schemes, examine historical performance, assess risk, monitor portfolios, and execute transactions without relying entirely on traditional financial intermediaries. At the same time, digital platforms influence investment decisions through personalised recommendations, notifications, social features, algorithmic suggestions, and simplified interfaces. These developments have created opportunities for greater financial participation but have also introduced challenges related to information overload, behavioural biases, cybersecurity, misinformation, and impulsive decision-making. This article examines the impact of digital platforms on mutual fund investment decisions, focusing on accessibility, information availability, convenience, investor behaviour, personalised financial services, financial literacy, and associated risks. It argues that digital platforms have become important decision-making environments in the contemporary mutual fund ecosystem, while the quality of investor decisions continues to depend on financial knowledge, risk awareness, and the responsible use of digital information.},
