Abstract
NFTs have become a topic of discussion lately. To safeguard its assets is one of the core activity of any financial institution, and as new asset types emerge, they have to quickly learn to master and manage them in the best interests of their clients. NFTs are simply the next new asset type. While artists are raking a lot of money through various marketplaces, small and large businesses are figuring out a way to use this new age asset to strategize and strengthen their organization. Even the governments want their fair share into this frenzy. This article provides a bird’s-eye view towards this billion-dollar industry. Right from understanding the fundamentals to how this digital asset is transitioning how businesses think today the article tries to analyze the role of NFTs in new age businesses.
