Big data refers to data sets that consist of a large amount of data. Most of the data in these sets are unstructured and complex to understand. The data sets are so large that traditional storage and processing techniques are insufficient to convert it into information or other forms for various requirements. In this paper, we have discussed about various data mining techniques that can be applied on large data sets to get the required results. We have also discussed the various fields where these data mining techniques can be applied to obtain solutions.
