IJIRT is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. We strictly follow the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expect all parties involved in the publishing process (editors, reviewers, authors, and the publisher) to adhere to these principles.
Editors evaluate manuscripts based solely on their academic merit, without regard to the authors’ race, gender, institutional affiliation, or nationality.
Editors ensure a fair double-blind peer review process.
Editors must not disclose information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and editorial board members.
Editors will take responsive measures if ethical concerns are raised about a submitted or published paper.
Reviewers assist the editorial board in making editorial decisions and may also help authors improve their manuscripts.
All manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.
Reviews should be conducted objectively, with clear arguments supporting their opinions.
Reviewers must identify relevant published work that has not been cited.
Reviewers must disclose any potential conflict of interest and decline review where such conflict exists.
Authors must ensure that their work is original and free from plagiarism.
All data used in the research must be accurate and properly documented.
Authors should acknowledge all sources of financial support or institutional funding.
Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the research. Others who contributed should be acknowledged.
Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.
Authors should promptly notify the editor if a significant error is discovered after publication.
The publisher ensures the integrity of the scholarly record.
The publisher works closely with editors to prevent any form of publication malpractice.
In cases of proven misconduct, plagiarism, or fraudulent publication, the publisher will issue retractions or corrections as needed.
All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using standard plagiarism detection tools (such as Turnitin/iThenticate).
Manuscripts found to contain a significant level of similarity will be rejected immediately.
Articles may be retracted in cases of plagiarism, research misconduct, or major errors.
Retractions and corrections will be clearly indicated and linked to the original article.
Authors may publish an erratum to correct minor errors.
