Welcome to IJIRT. We appreciate your interest in submitting your research to our journal. To ensure a smooth submission process and maintain the high standards of our publication, please carefully review and adhere to the following guidelines.

Aim and Scope

1. Aim
The International Journal of Innovative Research in Technology (IJIRT) aims to provide a high-quality, open-access platform for the rapid dissemination of innovative and original research across science, engineering, technology, and interdisciplinary domains. The journal is committed to advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and encouraging collaboration between academia, industry, and research communities worldwide.

Scope
IJIRT welcomes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and technical notes in (but not limited to) the following areas:

Engineering & Technology: Computer science, information technology, electronics, electrical engineering, civil, mechanical, and allied disciplines.

Applied Sciences: Mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and environmental sciences.

Medical & Health Sciences: Biomedical engineering, pharmacy, healthcare technologies, and life sciences.

Management & Humanities: Business, management, economics, education, and social sciences in the context of technology and innovation.

Emerging Domains: Artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, sustainable development, renewable energy, robotics, IoT, cybersecurity, and other frontier technologies.

The journal particularly encourages research that is:

Interdisciplinary and addresses global challenges.

Innovative in methods, applications, or insights.

Practical with real-world implications for academia, industry, and society.

All submissions are subjected to rigorous peer review to ensure originality, quality, and relevance.

2. Manuscript Preparation

2.1 General Requirements

• Language: All manuscripts must be written in English. Authors whose primary language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscripts professionally edited before submission.
• Originality: The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
• Word Count: Research articles should not exceed 10000 words, including references and figures. Review articles may have a higher word count, subject to editor approval.
• Format: Manuscripts should be prepared using a standard word processing program (e.g., Microsoft Word) and saved as .doc or .docx files.

2.2 Manuscript Structure

• Title Page:
  • Title of the manuscript (concise and informative)
  • Full names, affiliations, and email addresses of all authors
  • Corresponding author’s contact details
  • Acknowledgment of funding sources, if applicable
• Abstract: A concise summary of the research (150-250 words) that includes the objective, methods, results, and conclusions.
• Keywords: Provide 4-6 keywords that best describe the content of the manuscript.
• Main Text:
  • Introduction: Brief background, the rationale for the study, and research objectives.
  • Methods: Detailed methodology, including study design, data collection, and analysis methods.
  • Results: Clear presentation of findings, with appropriate use of tables and figures.
  • Discussion: Interpretation of results, implications, and comparison with existing literature.
  • Conclusion: Summary of key findings and potential future research directions.
• References: Follow IJIRT's preferred citation style, [APA/MLA/Chicago/etc.]. Ensure all references cited in the text are included in the reference list.
• Tables and Figures: Include these in the manuscript after the references section. Each table/figure should have a descriptive title and legend where applicable.

2.3 Supplementary Materials

Authors may submit supplementary materials (e.g., data sets, videos, additional figures) that will be published online alongside the article. These should be clearly referenced in the manuscript.

3. Submission Process

3.1 Online Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted through our online submission system [insert link]. Authors must create an account, complete the submission form, and upload the manuscript and any supplementary files.

3.2 Peer Review Process

• Initial Screening: Submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the editorial team for compliance with the journal’s scope and standards.
• Double-Blind Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent for double-blind peer review, ensuring the anonymity of both authors and reviewers.
• Revisions: Based on reviewers' feedback, authors may be required to revise their manuscript. Revised manuscripts should be resubmitted within the specified timeframe.
• Final Decision: The editorial team makes the final decision on acceptance, revision, or rejection based on the reviewers' recommendations.

4. Ethical Considerations

• Plagiarism: Authors must ensure their work is free from plagiarism. The journal uses plagiarism detection software to screen submissions.
• Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest in their manuscript.
• Ethical Approvals: Research involving human participants or animals must have obtained the necessary ethical approvals. Authors should include a statement of ethical approval in the manuscript.

5. Post-Acceptance

5.1 Proofs

After acceptance, authors will receive page proofs for final approval. Authors must review the proofs carefully and return them within 10 days. Only minor corrections are allowed at this stage.

5.2 Publication Fees

IJIRT may charge a publication fee to cover the costs of open access, peer review, and production. Details of the fees and any applicable waivers are provided https://ijirt.org/ProcessingCharges.

5.3 Open Access

All articles published in IJIRT are open access, making them freely available to the global research community under the terms of the [insert license type, e.g., Creative Commons Attribution License].

7. Use of Generative AI in Research and Publications
Authors may use Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools to improve language, grammar, or formatting of their manuscripts. However:

GenAI tools must not be listed as authors.

The intellectual responsibility for the content remains entirely with the human authors.

Any use of GenAI (e.g., for text drafting, figure creation, or analysis support) must be transparently declared in the manuscript (e.g., in the acknowledgments or a dedicated section).

Manuscripts generated wholly or substantially by AI without author oversight will not be accepted.

The journal reserves the right to screen submissions for inappropriate or undisclosed AI-generated content.
