Abstract
Information security has become a critical aspect of modern computing systems. The rapid progress in wireless communication system, personal communication system, and smart card technology in our society makes information more susceptible to misuse - the content of the communication may be exposed to any unwilling party, or system services can be used falsely. It is critical that these information systems are made secure before these systems are deployed extensively in society. Cryptography offers a robust solution for this increasing need for security by providing security services in terms of confidentiality, data integrity, authenticity and non-repudiation. This work gives a review of cryptography algorithm that can be used for authenticity & its implementation on FPGA platform.
