Abstract
This paper studies the impact of different types of fault in a grid connected photovoltaic (PV) system. DC-AC inverter is reconnected to supply power to the grid after the fault. By the use of half bridge converter (HBC) in the power electronic circuit, it is found out that neutral current can be reduced. The whole system is simulated in PSCAD/EMTDC software environment.
