Abstract
For many years , the mixture of water and ethylene glycol as a conventional coolant have been widely used in automobile sector for the cooling of engine. However with time it was found that these heat transfer fluids offered low thermal conductivity. With the advancement of technology scientists and researchers found a new genesis of heat transfer fluids called nanofluids, which offer a higher thermal conductivity as compared to conventional fluids. These nanofluids are engineered colloidal suspensions of nano particle in base fluid, to increase its transportation properties.
