Abstract
Gaining fluency in any language is a heavy task As a subscriber becomes more aware of the mobile phone technology. The search for new technology is always the main objective of the prime cell phone giants to out invent their competitors. Our aim is to solve the problem speech to speech conversion by developing a toolwhich will enhances the user's way of speech through correctness of pronunciation following the English phonetics. This paper describes the development of an resourceful speech recognition system using different techniques.MFCC is used to extract the characteristics from the input speech signal with respect to a particular word uttered by a particular speaker.Improving the present algorithms of speech to text to expand the quality of the output is under consideration.
