Abstract
This paper deals with the investigation of fracture energy(GF), compressive strength of concrete, crack width in AR fiber content & plain beams, displacement in beams, fracture toughness of concrete. W0=area below displacement curve up to rupture of specimen, W1=work done by deadweight of specimen and load applied on it, Alig=area of broken ligament (b * h), b=crack width, h=height of the crack, m1=mass of specimen, S=loading span, L=total length of specimen, m2=loadappliedonthespecimenuntilrupture, g= gravitational acceleration, CMODc=crack mouth opening displacement at the time of rupture.Notations-B-beams, P-Plain
