Abstract
An efficient, low-cost automated energy management system provided for houses is the main aim of the project. Surveillance facility for the house is also provided by this project. The system is an attempt to improve the utility features and energy management systems available at present after complete evaluation. In addition to providing a cost-effective solution for energy management, it also provides features to cater natural disaster such as fire. Arduino UNO microcontroller board is the board on which the system is built. Embedded C is the programming language which provides new features and facilities for easier coding
