The results of these experiments can be adapted for use in the circuit selection of high performance converters with power factor improvement circuits. .An outer loop regulates the output voltage by means of a proportional–integral (PI) compensator directly obtained from a small-signal model of the ideal sliding mode control dynamics. The control law proposed has been validated using numerical simulations and experimental results in a 0.5-kW prototype.
