Brightness Preserving Contrast Enhancement Of Medical Image Using Homomorphic Filtering and CLAHE

Abstract
In this article, we recommend an effective way to get around improve the contrast of medical images. Improving image contrast is a pre treating step that improves the efficiency of other images Commercial applications such as pattern recognition and computers Sight. The proposed method improves the contrast and preserves The brightness of the given image using CLAHE and homomorphic filtration. It uses couple of steps treatment in The global image contrast in the first step is enhanced with the help of CLAHE and weighted probability distribution of luminance Pixels and then in the second step homomorphic filtering is used for Sharpen the image to maintain the brightness of the image Filter when an image normalization follows. Test result show that the proposed method can improve the contrast of medical images without significantly compromising brightness. It does The proposed algorithm is intended to be a flexible tool for the medical image Extension.
