To assess the influence of social platform in food habits among students . Introduction: Eating a balanced diet is vital to maintain a good health and well being. We need a wide variety of different food to provide a right amount of nutrients for a good health. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle will prevent students from illness and maintain their body and mental health in a good state. Materials and methodology: This study was conducted by online survey method. A Google form questionnaire was circulated via social media. Eligible participants were college students aged 17-25 years. The target sample given was 60 and the sample achieved was 120. Results and discussion: The outcome of our study states that knowledge on maintaining a healthy lifestyle were tend to be moderate among college students and we can also see there is an increase in intake of fruits and vegetables after covid 19 and it was found that there was more number of participants who follow influencers comparing to a dietitian on social media. Conclusion: A healthy diet is important to play a significant role in the lives of college students. An adequate,well balanced diet combined with proper sleep time is a cornerstone of a good health. To improve the state of living a healthy lifestyle, awareness must be developed among college students by following up a healthy behavior by choosing a balanced diet.
