Abstract
In few years, mobiles uses like basic need of people in the world. Everyone wants to put up linked with one another. So, the new trend of migration of wired to wireless network application is borned. The wireless network gives mobility & scalability. A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a automating framework less network of mobile devices associated by wireless. Ad hoc is Latin and means "for this purpose". Mobile Ad hoc network (MANET) is mostly used in wireless network. It is wireless unfix network infrastructure. In the MANET each one node is sender & receiver to communicate within range. MANET is open & wide infrastructure of network. This is become attraction of attackers. To prevent these attacks intrusion detection mechanism introduced. For using, this mechanism, we have strong faith on its address has potential security issues. In this paper, we propose and implement a new intrusion-detection system designed for MANET named as Enhanced Adaptive Acknowledgment (EAACK). Correlate to extent approaches, EAACK shows higher hostile- behavior-detection rates in specific occurrence while does not greatly affect the network performances.
