The field experiment was laid out in randomized block design with nine treatments and three replications. The treatments are T1 – Control, T2 – RDF (25:50:75 kg NPK ha-1), T3 – RDF + Sulphur @ 75 kg ha-1 through gypsum, T4 – RDF + Rhizobium (seed treatment-ST), T5 – RDF + MN mixture (12.5 kg ha-1), T6 – RDF + Sulphur @7 5kg ha-1 through gypsum + Rhizobium (ST) , T7 – RDF + Sulphur @ 75 kg ha-1 through gypsum + MN mixture (12.5 kg ha-1), T8 – RDF + Rhizobium (ST) + MN mixture (12.5 kg ha-1), T9 – RDF + Sulphur @ 75 kg ha-1 through gypsum + Rhizobium (ST) + MN mixture (12.5 kg ha-1). The combined application of RDF, sulphur, Rhizobium and MN mixture influenced the plant growth, yield and its characters of groundnut. Among the different treatments tried, application of RDF + Sulphur @ 75 kg ha-1 through gypsum + Rhizobium (ST) + MN mixture @ 12.5 kg ha-1 (T9) recorded the maximum values of growth and yield characters viz., plant height (46.83 cm), leaf area index (4.10) , dry matter production (5483), CGR , pod yield (2180 kg ha-1), haulm Yield (3598 kg ha-1), kernel yield (1545.84 kg ha-1) and oil yield (752.05 kg ha-1). }, keywords = {gypsum, MN mixture, Rhizobium seed treatment, yield, growth.
