Abstract
Since long time various movements have been taking place to enhance the position of women in the society. Women empowerment is given much importance. Even though Women empowerment has various dimensions, economic empowerment is of fundamental significance. A woman can be economically empowered either taking a job or by starting her own venture. In this chapter some of the success stories of Women Entrepreneurs who in spite of facing various troubles in their lives, come up with their own solutions to problems and they emerged as successful Women Entrepreneurs. In this chapter success stories of seven Women Entrepreneurs in diverse fields in Hubballi-Dharwad have been traced.
