Abstract
This review paper aims to provide an overview of the evaluation and maintenance priorities for low volume flexible pavements based on a comprehensive analysis of various research papers in the field. Low volume flexible pavements, commonly found in rural and residential areas, pose unique challenges due to lower traffic volumes and different design requirements compared to high volume pavements. The objective of this review is to examine the existing knowledge and identify key considerations for the evaluation and maintenance of low volume flexible pavements, highlighting the importance of proactive strategies to ensure their long-term performance and cost-effectiveness. Through the synthesis of research findings, this review paper will provide valuable insights for engineers, researchers, and practitioners involved in the management and maintenance of low volume flexible pavements.
