Abstract
The project focuses on developing a system for short range detection of different objects using an ultrasonic sensor. The objective is to create a system that can accurately detect and differentiate objects within a predefined distance range. The system utilizes an Arduino board, an ultrasonic sensor, and additional components for object detection and feedback generation. The methodology involves connecting the ultrasonic sensor and Arduino board, implementing the necessary code, and setting the threshold distance for object detection. The system emits ultrasonic waves and measures the time taken for the waves to bounce back from objects. By converting this time duration into distance measurements, the Arduino determines whether the objects are within the specified short rang Experimental setup instructions guide the physical arrangement of components and any necessary calibration procedures. The results obtained demonstrate the system's performance in detecting different objects within the predefined range. The project's limitations and challenges are also discussed.
