Lastly, the research investigates the socioeconomic factors, risk preferences, and market conditions on the investment behaviour of salaried investors, examining how these factors contribute to the investment preferences between the stock market and alternative avenues. Through a comprehensive comparison, this study provides insights into the complex dynamics of salaried investors' investment behaviour in Pune, India, shedding light on the underlying psychological and socioeconomic factors shaping their investment decisions.
