  • This paper provides a comprehensive introduction to industrial agriculture approaches, exploring the evolution, methodologies, and implications of large-scale farming practices. Industrial agriculture, characterized by high-input, high-output farming systems, has significantly transformed global food production over the past century. Key components such as mechanization, chemical inputs (fertilizers and pesticides), genetic modification, and monoculture practices are examined in detail. The paper discusses the economic advantages of industrial agriculture, including increased efficiency, productivity, and scalability, which have contributed to global food security. However, it also critically addresses the environmental and social challenges associated with these methods.
