Trade Preferences in Vocational Education: A Gender Perspective

  • This research paper tries to find a gender based preference of trades in vocational education. Secondary data (Quantitative as well as Qualitative) from earlier studies/articles/reports has been used to arrive at the result /conclusion. The studies conducted in India and abroad indicate that there exists a choice for trade selection based on gender owing to various reasons ,To fill this gap there is a need to devise methods at policy, implementation and infrastructure level to bridge this gap .
