Abstract:
Digital libraries are pivotal in higher education, providing students and faculty with access to an extensive array of learning resources. This study investigates the influence of hardware facilities on the functionality and efficiency of digital libraries in higher education institutions in Andhra Pradesh, India. By evaluating the availability, performance, and accessibility of hardware resources, the study highlights critical gaps and proposes solutions to enhance the infrastructure. The findings reveal that while some institutions boast robust hardware, others face significant deficiencies, impacting the effectiveness of digital library services.
