  • Abstract:
  • Fertilizers are pivotal in enhancing crop productivity, but their application significantly impacts soil chemical properties, influencing soil fertility and sustainability. This study examines the variations in key soil chemical parameters, including pH, organic carbon, nitrogen, electrical conductivity (EC), and nutrient concentrations, before and after fertilizer application during the 2021–2022 agricultural year. The findings indicate notable changes, with improved nitrogen and essential nutrient levels contributing to increased soil fertility. However, challenges such as reduced pH, decreased organic carbon, and elevated salinity risk highlight the potential for adverse effects if fertilizers are mismanaged. These results emphasize adopting balanced fertilizer use and integrated soil management practices to maintain long-term soil health and productivity.
