  • Mobile health (mHealth) applications, powered by advanced machine learning (ML) algorithms, have emerged as a promising solution to improve health outcomes and increase accessibility to healthcare services. This research presents an innovative approach to integrating You Only Look Once (YOLO), a cutting-edge real-time object detection algorithm, into a mobile health platform that addresses two significant healthcare challenges: medication adherence and early skin disease detection. The proposed system aims to use a single mobile app to help patients monitor their adherence to prescribed medications and, at the same time, detect potential skin diseases such as melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and other dermatological conditions through real-time image analysis.
